Building Strong Foundations for a Brighter Future

We understand that families play an important role in the success and growth of children and adolescents. Thus, our providers build on the collaboration, education, and empowerment of parents and caregivers to help better understand their child’s unique needs to foster strong families. We specialize in helping children build positive behaviors, manage emotions, strengthen relationships, and succeed in school and home environments.

Supportive services provided to families, children, and adolescents may include the following:

  • Individual and Family Counseling – Evidence-based counseling sessions that foster safety, trust, and encourage an environment where children can express emotions, process experiences, and learn more about themselves.
  • Behavioral Intervention – Learning about maladaptive behaviors and replacing those undesirable behaviors with healthier options that get needs met.
  • Skills Training – Teaching children, parents and/or caregivers coping and communication skills that are effective and sustainable. These skills will help address challenging behaviors, improve moods, build relationships, decrease anxiety and distress to build confidence and stability.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Children may qualify for services if they:
  • Are 6-17 years old (Should we put 10 and up?)
  • Have a mental health diagnosis verified by a licensed professional
  • Are enrolled in or eligible for North Dakota Medicaid
  • Live in North Dakota
  • Demonstrate a need for behavioral and/or therapeutic services to maintain or improve daily functioning and well-being.
